Android · for the shop counter
Hear the money arrive.
“Trust the chime, not the screenshot.”
LaariAlert sits on the phone at your counter and listens to the notifications your own banking apps post. When a transfer lands, it chimes and says the amount out loud — so the person at the till knows the money is really there without unlocking anything.
Payment alert
The heads-up notification as money lands on the counter phone.
The problem
A screenshot is not a payment.
A customer holds up a phone showing a transfer. It might have been cancelled, never sent, or edited. At a busy counter there is no quick way to tell, and handing over the goods is a decision someone has to make in a few seconds.
The bank's own notification is the part that cannot be faked. LaariAlert turns it into something you can hear across the shop, and a record you can search afterwards.
How it works
Four steps, all of them on your phone.
-
The bank posts
Your banking app shows its usual funds-received notification, exactly as it always has.
-
Everything else is dropped
Only the banking apps you ticked are read. Anything from another app is discarded on the app name, before its contents are looked at.
-
It works out what happened
Amount, sender and direction are pulled out. Repeats, promotions and login alerts are thrown away rather than counted.
-
The counter hears it
A chime, then the amount spoken aloud in English. Saved to history, and forwarded to your Telegram if you switched that on.
At the till
Loud enough to work in a real shop.
- The amount is spoken, not just chimed — “Received one thousand two hundred fifty rufiyaa”, with the numbers spelled out so they survive counter noise.
- It can play on the alarm channel, so a phone left on silent still announces money.
- Quiet hours for the times you want it to stop, with start and end times you pick.
- Verify a slip — type the amount or reference a customer claims to have sent, and see whether a matching payment actually landed.
- Duplicates get flagged — a second payment with the same amount and sender on the same day is marked “check before releasing goods”.

Ready to put it on the counter phone?
LaariAlert is installed directly from a file rather than from an app store. Android shows a warning partway through — the install guide walks through it honestly, step by step.
